Frances L. Tenney Riegel, age 87, of Ellamore, WV died Sunday, August 16, 2015 in Nella’s Nursing Home in Elkins, WV. She was born February 21, 1928 in Czar, WV, a daughter of the late Charles Everett and Louisie Tenney Heater. On August 21, 1960 she married Macil Riegel who survives.

Also surviving are three sons, David Tenney and wife Mabel of Ellamore, Gary Tenney and wife Frances of Buckhannon and Marion Riegel of Ellamore; four daughters, Leona Krupp of PA, Millie Jean Bohon and husband Tony of Norton, WV, Mildred and husband Ed of VA and Linda George of Buckhannon; seven granddaughters, four grandsons, several great-grandchildren and one sister, Thelma Trees of GA.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her 1st husband, Luther Tenney who died in 1959; twin sons, Bobby and Billy Tenney; three sisters, Agnus Poling, Vorlet Heater and Myrtle Louis and three brothers, McClellan and Charles Heater and Arthur Tenney.

Mrs. Riegel was a homemaker and a member of the Sand Run Baptist Church. Friends will be received Wednesday, August 19, 2015 from 12 Noon until 1 PM at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held 1 PM Wednesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Donald Butcher officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Union Church Cemetery.
