Betty Selman, age 78, of Elm Mott, passed away Thursday morning, February 6, 2020, at her residence.

Funeral Service will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 11, 2020 at Aderhold Funeral Home Chapel in West, with Bro. Sam Crosby officiating. Burial will follow at Bold Springs Cemetery.

The family will receive visitors from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Betty was born March 29, 1941, in Durant, Oklahoma, the daughter of Irvin and Jewell (Davidson) Kinsey. She attended Waco Tech High School. Betty was a member of First Baptist Church of West. She worked in manufacturing for many years. She was a Leader of the Girl Scout Troop #308 in West and was a distinguished member of the American Kennel Club. Betty enjoyed fishing, camping, and outings with family and friends.

Betty is preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Debbie French; a son, Robert Martin; her sisters, Catherine Kinsey, Josephine Kinsey, and Billie Kinsey; and her brothers, Irvin Kinsey and Larry Kinsey.

Survivors include her children, Pat Watson, Will Selman III and wife Rhonda, Dave Selman, and Donna Taylor and husband Alan; her sisters, Jewell Dean Indoe and husband Thomas, Evelyn Bratcher, and Linda Spearman; a brother, Daryl Kinsey; 12 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
