Lester O. Morris Master Sergeant - U.S. Army Ret. Lester was born in Richland, Oregon. He was preceded in death by his wife of 27 years, Naomi, and daughter, Heidi. He is survived by his daughters Linda Williams (Oregon) and Virginia (Jean) Morris (Washington). He is also survived by his sister, Nellie (Oregon). Lester was a POW in Korea from 1950 to 1953. After his military service he worked in the restaurant industry and was known to his friends there as "Curly". He enjoyed traveling, camping and gardening. The family thanks the staff at Tacoma Lutheran Home for the care provided. A special thank you to Sherry, Phil, and Sarah from Hospice for their kindness. We wish to acknowledge his granddaughter Jonyne and her two sons for bringing joy and happiness to Lester's life. Viewing will be Monday, July 30 from 3-9 p.m. at Mountain View Funeral Home. Interment and graveside service on Tuesday, July 31, 2007 at 11:15 a.m. at Tahoma National Cemetery.
