Mildred Florence Acree, 88, of Greenfield, passed away on January 31, 2020 in Evansville, Indiana. Millie was born in Clarksville, IN to Francis and Pam Stuart on August 21, 1931. She graduated from Howe High school. She married Herbert Lorin Acree on January 18, 1950 in Indianapolis. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Peru. she worked as a nursing home Activities director for several Hancock county Nursing homes for 30 plus years. she enjoyed quilting as a hobby.

Millie was preceded in death by her parents, husband Herbert Lorin acree, their infant daughter Ruth Virginia Acree, and brothers, Frank and Fred. Millie is survived by sons, Lester (Debbie) Acree, Eddie (Tammi) Acree, daughters, Denise (David) Thompson, Connie (Dean) Butler; sister Betty Stevenson; 11 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Memorial may be made to American Heart association or American Lung Association. Millie's family wishes to extend their sincere thanks to the staff of St. Vincent Hospital and Parkview Care Center, both in Evansville, Indiana, and also to Rev. Jerry Daniels.

Visitation will be at 11 am Saturday, February 8, 2020, at Crown Hill funeral Home, service will be held at 1 pm Saturday, February 8, 2020 at crown Hill funeral Home with Pastor Scott McDonald of City View church in Avon, Indiana, officiating. Burial will be in Crown Hill Cemetery.
