Reva Mae Silence Jackson, age 79, of Brownstown, passed away on Tuesday, February 4, 2020, at her residence.
Reva was a member of the Brownstown Church of the Nazarene.
Born on August 6, 1940, in Brownstown, she was the daughter of Marvin and Gladys Aynes Silence, both of whom preceded her in death. On February 14, 1999, at the Brownstown Church of the Nazarene, she married Arnold Jackson and he preceded her in death.
Survivors include two sons: Douglas Edward Foster of Brownstown, and Gary Dean (Lisa) Foster of North Vernon; two step-sons: George Jackson and Daryl Jackson, both of Ohio; six grandchildren: Jennifer Foster (Ryan) May of McConnelsville, Ohio, Daphne Foster (Brandon) Davis of Brownstown, Zachary Foster of Brownstown, April Foster of North Vernon, Michael Knapp of Madison, and Katie Knapp of Vallonia; five great-grandchildren: Theodore Davis of Brownstown, Haylie May of Butlerville, Blaize May of McConnelsville, Ohio, Jensen May of McConnelsville, Ohio, and Lillyan May of McConnelsville, Ohio; and several step-grandchildren.
Mrs. Jackson was also preceded in death by two step-sons and one step-daughter.
Funeral services for Reva Mae Silence Jackson will be conducted at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 6, 2020, at Spurgeon Funeral Home, Inc., Brownstown, with Steve Silence officiating. Friends may call from 4:00 p.m. until the time of the service at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday at Spurgeon Funeral Home, Inc., Brownstown.
