Neva J. Boyd, 59, Marion, went home in the loving hands of the Lord on Friday, January 24, 2020, surrounded by loved ones. She was born in Wabash on October 4, 1960.
Neva was a loving mother, sister, aunt, and friend. She spent several years working at Rolling Meadows before becoming an EKG technician at Marion General Hospital where she worked for 18 years.
She is survived by her daughter, Caitlin (Sean Miller) Sailors; son, Darrell Boyd; sisters, Diana (Clarence) McNeeley and Katherine (Fred) Taylor; her daughter's best friend and son, Bailey Tipton Loy and Vito Thompson; and several nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Allen (Bud) Sailors and Charlotte Sailors; sister, Rebecca Sailors Thomas; nephews, David and John Thomas; and her beloved dog, Scruffy.
The family will receive visitors from 11:00 am to 12:00 noon on Monday, February 10, 2020, at Integrity Funeral Care, 2901 S. Washington St., Marion, IN.
Immediately following the time of visitation, a funeral service to celebrate Neva's life will begin at 12:00 noon. Pastor Brad Wright will be officiating with burial following at LaFontaine I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
