Velma Ray Littleton Alvis, 74, of Church Hill, passed away Sunday, February 2, 2020, at her residence. Velma was a lifelong resident of Church Hill. She was the daughter of the late Glen and Gladys Light Littleton. Velma was a member of Bradshaw’s Chapel Church. She enjoyed being in church and loved singing in the church. In addition to her parents, Velma was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Paul Alvis; three brothers and four sisters. Survivors include her daughter, Norma Bryant; granddaughters, Laura Bowling, Tera Mitchell and Linda Mitchell; seven great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
