Sue Carole (Sullivan) Fioretti was born on January 5, 1937 in Dallas, Texas. She passed away in Stigler, Oklahoma on February 2, 2020 at the age of 83.
She was preceded in death by her father, Jack Edward Sullivan, a Dallas firefighter, who was killed in the line of duty in 1945; her step-father, Clyde Cessna Brown; her brother, Leonard; her mother, Mary Sue Brown; and her sweetheart and love of her life, Louis Fioretti, Jr., who passed just a little over a month ago.
She is survived by her three children -- Heather Fenton, Nina Fioretti and Steven Fioretti, and wife, Julie, all of Stigler, her grandchildren -- Nichole Fioretti Chhikara and husband, Sid, Justin Fenton, Tristan Fioretti, Chet Fenton, Remington Fioretti, and Addison Fioretti; and great grandchildren -- Avery Fenton, Jayce Fenton, Rilee Jo Fenton, and Archer Chhikara. Sue is also survived by her special sisters – Wanda Hilz Armstrong, Louise Hilz Petty, Audrey Hilz Fowler, Patricia Hilz Sincleair; and special brother, Nicky Hilz – all of Dallas, Texas.
Sue was active with the United Service Organization (USO) and traveled to help entertain the troops. It was during one of her performances at Fort hood where she met Louis. They were married on February 7, 1959. They resided in Dallas, Texas and moved to Stigler, Oklahoma in 1969.
Sue was a long-time member of the First United Methodist Church of Stigler and sang in the church choir. She enjoyed singing, painting, teaching dance, arts and crafts, reading, traveling, and most important – caring for her grandchildren.
Memorial Services will at 1:00 pm on Friday, February 7, 2020 at the First United Methodist Church in Stigler with Rev. Dr. Jim Hill officiating under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory of Stigler.
Family Visitation from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Thursday, February 6, 2020 at Mallory-Martin Funeral Home in Stigler.
