LAVINIA ELLEN COOK STOUARD
Lavinia Ellen Cook was the daughter of William Austin Cook and Phedora Womack Cook of Bosque County, Texas. She married John William "Will" Stouard in Stephens County on January 20, 1889. They lived on the Stouard Ranch that Will had managed since the death of his father in 1887.
Will and Lavinia had five children: John Robert, 1889-1947, married Nina Barton; Jesse Lee, 1891-1957, married Etta Frances McLearen; Sue, 1893-1964, married John Franklin Hawley; Lela Mae, 1895-1984, married Neal Ham; and Lee Roy, 1897-1958, married Mollie McPherson. Lavinia died August 13, 1897 at the birth of their last child.
