Carmi Churchill, 97, died in Cicero Thursday afternoon. For the past 19 years he has made his home with his daughter, Mrs. Alice Sneller. He was Cicero's oldest citizen.

Mr. Churchill was born at Kingsbury, Washington county, December 7th, 1821. He married Miss Silda Kimball in 1850. He had spent most of his life in Oswego county until he came to make his home with his daughter, after the death of his wife.

He is also survived by a son, H.C. Churchill of Binghamton, four grandchildren, C.R. Sneller, Mrs. Clarence Shaver, Mrs. V. Shover, and Miss Lena Churchill; one brother, C.B. Churchill of Schenectady, and one sister, Mrs. Mary Moulton.

The funeral will be held from the late home on Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Burial will be in Cicero.
