Norman (Bally) Janes, 69, Taylor Co., KY/Green Co. native (1948-2018)

Bally was a self-employed electrician and plumber, and could fix about anything. He enjoyed fishing. He was a member of Pollard's Chapel United Methodist Church. He was a member of a large, gifted, and highly regarded family. He was the son of the late Galeon and Sallie Keltner Janes, one of 13 and the fourth sibling to pass over.

Norman "Bally" Janes, 69, of Campbellsville, KY, died Monday, April 23, 2018 at 9:17amET at his home.

Funeral service will be Friday, April 27, 2018 at 11amCT, at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home, 200 Campbellsville Street, Columbia, KY, with Bro. Adam Pruitt & Bro. Roy Phillips officiating. Burial in Tarter's Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be after pmCT, Thursday, April 26, 2018.

He was born June 19, 1948, in Green County, KY. He was the son of the late Galeon and Sallie Keltner Janes. He died Monday, April 23, 2018, in Taylor County, KY, at the age of 69 years, eight monthsm and four days.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters, Lewis, Bill and Johnnie Janes, Ruth Burris, and Ernestine Kemp.

Bally was a self-employed electrician and plumber, could fix about anything and enjoyed fishing. He was a member of Pollard's Chapel United Methodist Church.

Two daughters: Angie Adams and husband, Mark, of Campbellsville, KY; and Schella Pittman and husband David of Georgetown, KY

Three brothers: Ollen, Herbert & Payne Janes, all of Milltown, KY

Four sisters: Freida Smith of Louisville, KY; Retter Bailey of Campbellsville, KY, and Sue Cundiff & Phyllis Stone, both of Columbia, KY

Five grandchildren - Kayla, Danielle & Alaina Adams, Shelby & Cali Pittman
