Katie previously worked at North American Phillips. She was a member of St. Anthony’s Catholic Church.
Welcoming, generous and hard -working, Katie lived her life to the fullest. She loved to garden, cook, and feed everyone. However, her greatest love was for her family. Her grandchildren, great grandchildren and great – great grandchildren called their Nunny their best playmate ever.
Katie enjoyed exercising at the Country Club Health Spa and the Spa Fitness Center over twenty five years where she made a “family of friends”. They loved her and she loved them.
Katie is survived by her daughter Bonnie Oliver of Fairmont and her son and daughter-in-law Domenick and Judie Poster of Bridgeport.
She is also survived by her grandchildren Billy (Stacey) Oliver, Cathy (Mike) Haney and Domenick Dustin Poster and six great- grandchildren Katlin, Grant, and Anna Haney, Dominique Oliver, Lova Oliver Jaros (Jason) and one great-great grandchild River Jaros.
Katie is also survived by one brother Mickey (Linda) Abruzzino of Fairmont, and two sisters Patty Abruzzino and Virginia Zuspan both of Grafton, plus many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her loving husband Domenick Poster in 2006, five brothers Joe, John, Frank, Sam, and Danny Abruzzino and three sisters Rose Julian, Mary Christian and Betty Jean Abruzzino plus one son-in-law William K Oliver.
