San Jose Evening News, Nov. 16, 1909. "BOLFING—In Santa Cruz, Cal., November 14, 1909, Thomas, beloved husband of Anna Bolfing, a native of Switzerland, aged 72 years."

Anna Bolfing died in Santa Cruz on Sept. 18, 1923, at the age of 84 (Calif. Death Index). Unknown if she is buried in this plot.

Thomas Bolfing was buried next to his son-in-law Orville A. R. Saunders who died in 1908. Thomas Bolfing's daughter (O.A.R. Saunders' wife) Anna (Bolfing) Saunders died in Santa Cruz on Sept. 13, 1926, and was cremated at Cypress Lawn (SF Examiner, Sept. 14, 1926, p.4).
