Sheila Rebecca Evans, a bus driver with East Baton Rouge Parish school system, died Thursday, July 26, 2007, at 7:07 p.m. at Lane Regional Medical Center in Zachary. She was a resident of Zachary and native of Baton Rouge.

Visiting at Baker Funeral Home, 6401 Groom Road, Baker, until religious service in the chapel. Interment in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.

Survived by her husband, Stewart Evans of Zachary; father, Wayne E. Bennett of Baker; two daughters and son-in-law, Erin and Dennis Ray Meyn of Osyka, Miss., and Lacey Marie Evans of Denham Springs; two stepdaughters, Stacey Langley and Christie Evans, both of Central; son, Ian Matthew Evans of Denham Springs; four grandchildren; sister, Connie Dupuy of Zachary; brother, Norman Bennett of Clinton; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by her mother, Doris M. Bennett; first husband, Dwight McLellan; and brother, Glenn Bennett.
