Mr. Gunsten was born June 6, 1885, in Menard County, son of Owen and Mackalinea Gunsten. He married Pearl Bock in Lincoln, May 3, 1920.
Surviving are his wife; three daughters, Mrs. Doris Hunt, Peoria; Miss Phyllis and Miss Mary Jo, both of Pekin; two sons, James and Dean, both of Pekin; a brother, John Gunsten, Compton, Calif.; and four sisters, Mrs. Hulda Knapp, Mrs. Addie Hawkins, both of Compton, Calif.; Mrs. Waren Meyers and Mrs. Emma Marshall, both of Mason City.
Burial will be in Glendale Memorial Garden, east of Pekin.
