Dr. ELIZABETH MEYER MENDELSSOHN, wife of Felix Mendelssohn, cellist in the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra, died yesterday at her home, 332 Whitridge Avenue.
Dr. Mendelssohn was born in Hanover, Germany, and received medical training at the University of Bonn. She and Mr. Mendessohn met on a voyage from Germany in May, 1936. They were married in New York in June, 1936, and moved to Baltimore six years ago.
Dr. Mendelssohn practiced medicine in Baltimore and also taught at the Columbia Institute.
Besides her husband she is survived by a daughter, Cornelia.
