Rites Today for Mrs. Nancy Stuart.
Funeral services will be held at Gus Pool and Son chapel this afternoon at 2 o'clock for Mrs. Nancy Melinda Stuart, 86-year-old Bryan county pioneer, who died at her home. 101 West Arkansas Street, Friday night after an illness of several weeks.
Services will be conducted by Rev. Lee South, and burial will be in the Pleasant Hill cemetery.
Pallbearers will be E.R. Dees jr., O. J. Steward, J. T. Currin, Glenn Hogue, Mack Barnes and Clarence Howard.
Mrs. Stuart was born at Glenrose, Texas, July 6, 1868. She had lived in Bryan county 65 years and was a member of the Pentecostal Holiness church.
The deceased is survived by two sons, Charles David Stuart, Houston, Texas; and James Sidney Stuart, San Bernardino, Calif.; five daughters, Mrs. Vivian Jones, Fort Worth; and Mrs. Harry Cure, Mrs. Edgar Dees, Mrs. B.F. Killian, and Mrs. Lena Drinkwater, all of Durant; and a sister, Mrs. B.F. Craig, Ashland, Oregon.
