Ira T. Beeman
Ira T. Beeman, 73, died Saturday at the Good Samaritan hospital after an extended illness. Mr. Beeman, druggist and owner of Hammel’s pharmacy, 838 S. W. 10th avenue, was born in Portland January 27, 1882. He was a resident of 7240 N. Fowler avenue. Survivors include the widow, Maude N.; one son, Dr. Joseph Beeman, Boise, Idaho; one daughter, Mrs. Madison Smith, Portland; a brother, Joseph T., Huntington Beach, Cal.; and four grandchildren. Requiem mass will be offered in St. Mary’s cathedral Wednesday at 10 a. m. Recitation of the rosary will be Tuesday at 8 p. m. at Finley’s. Private burial will be at Riverview Abbey mausoleum.
