Pneumonia Takes Life Of 99-Year-Old,
One of Clinton's oldest residents,Mrs.Nancy{Nan}Hatmaker,99,died of
pneumonia June 12 at the home of her daughter,Mrs.Harley{Viola}Rains of Andersonville Highway,Clinton Rt.1. She was the wife of the late W.R.Hatmaker Campbell County.Mrs.Hatmaker,a native of Campbell County,began living with her daughter five years ago.Mrs.Hatmaker broke her hip nine years ago,causing her to be bedridden since.She was a member of Willow Brook Baptist Church in Lake City.Funeral services were 2p.m.Saturday at Cox Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev.Paul Wilson officiating.Burial was in Cumberland View Cemetery.Mrs.Hatmaker is survived by five daughters,Mrs.Rains,Mrs.Oscar{Mary}Watson of Mitchie,Mrs.Doyle Cox,of Rockwood,Mrs.Emmett{Cora}Cox and Mrs.E.M.{Maude}Baird both of Jacksboro,and two sons,Clude Hatmaker of Knoxville,and Leon Hatmaker of Lake City.
