She was born June 28, 1915 in Waterloo, daughter of Charles Pierce, Sr., and Effie Kinsel-Pierce. Lucille graduated from Sacred Heart High School in 1934.
She married Cecil W. Hemsath on May 18, 1941, and they celebrated 54 years until he passed away February 21, 1996.
Lucille worked at Alstadt and Langlas for many years.
She is survived by her daughter, Kathleen Hemsath of Waterloo; and many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
Lucille is preceded in death by her parents; sister, Ethel Dushek; and brother, Charles Pierce, Jr.
Lucille enjoyed playing the organ, bowling, golf, sewing, shopping, crafts, traveling, and baking.

10:30 AM Saturday, February 1, 2020 at Locke Funeral Home.
Visitation:
4:00 PM – 8:00 PM Friday, January 31, 2020 at Locke Funeral Home, and for one hour before the service at the funeral home.
