Carsonville--Mrs. Ada Jane Regan, the widow of James Regan and lifelong resident of Sanilac County, died Tuesday evening in the home of her daughter, Mrs. John Maes, Lexington, after an extended illness.

She was born June 17, 1871 in Sanilac County and was married to Edwin Cornwell, May 30, 1894. He died Oct. 25, 1919.

She was married to Mr. Regan in November, 1920. He died April 17, 1958.

Mrs. Regan was a member of Applegate Pilgrim Holiness Church.

Surviving are a son, Fred Cornwell, Carsonville; three daughters, Mrs. Walter Chartier and Mrs. Nora Frizzle, both of Port Huron, and Mrs. Maes, Lexington; a stepson, Roy Regan, Detroit; two stepdaughters, Mrs. Chris Evans, Detroit, and Mrs. Bruce Farr, Peck; nine grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, three brothers, Job Hartwick, of Alger; Byron Hartwick, Sterling, and Charles Hartwick, Erie, Mich; two sisters, Mrs. Frank Warton, Melbourne, Fla., and Mrs. Leslie Markle, West Branch. A daughter, Mrs. Tony Byrnes, died in April 1960.

Remains are in Hacker Funeral Parlors, Sanduskky, and will be removed at 11 a.m. Friday to Applegate Pilgrim Holiness Church. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday by Rev. Raymond Dean, pastor; Rev. John L. Maes, Lansing, her grandson, and Rev. Robert Deal, Sandusky.

Burial will be in Steckley Cemetery, near Applegate.
