Note***
Though the obituary states he died in the home of his son I have reason to believe it was not his son but rather his nephew. His brother, William Hayden, had a son named Jonah Parks Wagers.
The home in which John died was inhabited by Jonah, age 50. This would make his birth in 1860. John, in 1860, was still living at home with his father. There is no evidence that John ever married and none that he had ever fathered any children.
