Nellie Williams Gutke, 94, died December 6, 1993 at her home in Salt Lake City.

She was born February 23, 1899 in Fitzgerald, Georgia to Sidney Ambrose and Mary Parker Williams. She married Sylvester Charles Gutke on March 31, 1920 in the Salt Lake LDS Tample. He died June 1, 1958.

A former member of the Tabernacle Choir, she was an active member of the LDS Church, servicing particularly in musical, church and civic capacities.

Survived by sons; Wessie Williams Gutke and wife Doralee of Yuma, Arizona; Gordon Gene Gutke and wife Shirley; daughters, Nellie Rowena Gutke; and Carol Esther Dunn and husband Dennis, all of Salt Lake City, ten grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren; sister Esther Hilliker, Wautoma, Wisconsin. Preceded in death by a son Milan Trevar Gutke.

Graveside services will be held 2 p.m. Thursday, December 9, 1993 in the Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park (Hillside Section), 3401 South Highland Drive where friends may call from 12:45 – 1:45 p.m. prior to services.
