T.F. was a member of Big Creek Lodge 204 from 1866 until he died in 1872. He served as a private in Co. K. 15th Miss Infantry under Capt. J.M. Watson. He was mustered in on June 11, 1861 for a period of 12 months at Cornith, Miss. Roll dated June 14, 1861. The Company Muster-out Roll was dated Aug. 14, 1861. This unit was also known as the Okitbbeha Plough Boys. T.F.'s war record included a "List" card which gave the following information: Age- 21, Height - 5'6", Nativity - N. Carolina, Post Office - Double Springs, Occupation - Engineer. No other Crow war record has this type of information included!

According to his youngest son, John Thomas Crow (2/18/1873-1955), Thomas Frank was buried in an unmarked grave in the Big Creek Methodist Church Cem. Double Springs in Oktibbeha County, Mississippi.
