MRS. FRED C. WEISSER

Funeral services for Mrs. Fred C. Weisser, 71, 3917 Ridge Ave., will be at 9 a.m. Thursday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. The Rev. Frank J. Brady will officiate. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery under direction of the Larkin Funeral Home.

The Rosary will be recited tonight at the funeral home at 7 o'clock by parishioners and at 7:30 o'clock by Catholic Daughters of America.

Mrs. Weisser died Monday at a Sioux City hospital after a long illness.

Mrs. Weisser, the former Emaline A. Balbin [sic/Balvin], was born March 2, 1897, in Iowa. She is a former resident of Yankton, S.D., moving to Sioux City in 1923. Mr. Weisser died in 1962 at Sioux City. Mrs. Weisser was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and the Catholic Daughters of America.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Kathryn Nugent of Algona, Iowa; a sister, Mrs. Rose Woerderhoff of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; a brother, Joseph Balbin [sic/Balvin] of Tyndall, S.D.; and four grandchildren.
