Shirley Marilyn Vickrey Fayard 81, of Atmore, AL. passed away January 23, 2020 in Atmore. She was born in Huxford, AL. to the late Bernard E. “Bunk” and Daisy Myrtle Kent Vickrey on October 21,1938. She is preceded in death by her parents; her first husband Billy Turberville; brothers; Lawrence Vickrey and Doug Vickrey. She was a faithful member of Presley Street Baptist Church where she served as a Sunday School Teacher, Pianist and member of the Choir. She was a retired Banker from First National Bank of Atmore after 48 years of service.
She is survived by her husband H. Curtis Fayard of Atmore, AL. Three sons Greg (Kelly) Turberville of Enterprise, AL; Mike (Terri) Fayard of Seminole, AL and Bryan (Candace) Fayard of Flomaton, AL. Two sisters Nell Owens of Atmore, AL. and Ann (Larry) Davis of Atmore, AL. Five grandchildren Erin, Kaylee, Cody, Emily and Curt. Three great grandchildren Arabella, Owen and Finn.
Funeral services will be held Monday, January 27, 2020 at 2 PM at the Presley Street Baptist Church with Rev. Joseph Simpson officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery.
Visitation will be held Monday, January 27, 2020 from 1 PM until service time at 2 PM at Presley Street Baptist Church.
