Charles is the son of Joseph Cabaret and Elizabeth Wooden. His mother died when he was an infant and most of his siblings died when young.
Charles married Eva Florence Howdyshell on 6 Feb 1899 in Iowa.
They are the parents of Homer, Everett, Clarence Clifford and David H Cabaret. The family lived in Sheridan County, MT.
It appears Charles was admitted here early in May 1921 and died a week or so later of a cerebral hemorrhage.

The newspaper in Scobey, however, said he'd had an abscess or tumor in his brain. His symptoms were described in one of the articles. It adds that his body had been shipped east for burial.

The death certificate indicates there was no autopsy and that he was buried on 15 May in Warm Springs.
