CENTERVILLE, UT - On June 29, 2007 our beloved wife, mother, and grandmother returned to our Heavenly Father. She was always the happiest when she was helping others. Throughout her life, she would go without to provide for those she loved. Not a day went by without her giving of herself. Kathy loved and cared for others so much it pained her to see suffering in any form. Her best friend, companion, and soul mate was her husband of 31 years, to whom she would give the world. They were truly in love with each other and only wanted the best for their family. The light of her life was her grandchildren and you could see the twinkle in her eyes when she was with them. Grandma loved to spoil her three darling grandkids and had something special for them each time she saw them. All she wanted was her family to be healthy, happy, and together. There will be a void in our family that can never be filled. The lessons of love and sacrifice will carry on in our hearts forever. You have taught us what family means and you will never be forgotten. Everyone she met loved her. She beamed with energy and charisma and people were drawn to her sweet, caring spirit. Those who knew her will miss her sense of humor and quick wit.
She is survived by her husband, Greg; daughter, Kimberly; sons, Travis, Blake, and Ryan (Melanie); grandchildren, Sailor, Jaxan, and Annabella; brothers, Michael and Wayne Bloomquist; sisters, Geneal Davies and Janet (Tom) Blonquist.
Funeral services will be held July 5, 2007, 1 p.m. at the Porter Lane 3rd Ward chapel, 400 South 400 West, Centerville, Utah. The viewing will be July 4, 2007 from 6-8 p.m. at the Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary, 295 North Main St, and Thursday from 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. prior to services at the church. Preceded in death by her parents, Harley and Thelma Bloomquist; brothers, Paul and Leon; and infant sister, Wanda. Grandma, we love you and look forward to the day we meet again. Mom, may peace be with you. We love you forever and always. You will truly be missed.
