Lula B. Wolfe, 88, of Millwood, WV, departed this life June 27, 2003 in Jackson General Hospital, Ripley, following an extended illness.
She was born January 12, 1915 in Given, WV a daughter of the late Cloyd Franklin and Edith (Barnett) Brotherton.
She was a homemaker, a protestant, and was a servant to her community and family.
Surviving are sons, Robert F. Wolfe, and Leonard P. "John L." Wolfe both of Sacramento, CA, and Ray E. Wolfe of Charleston; daughters, Edith Casto of Given, Annabelle Jones and Margaret Randolph both of Ripley; brother, Roy Boggs of Ravenswood; loving care giver and niece, Melody Sayre; 24 grandchildren; 32 great grandchildren; 4 great great grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by sons, James L., Hoyt Dwight, and Cloyd Franklin; daughter, Helen Jean Davis; brothers, William F., James O, and Robert C.
Service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 1, 2003 at Casto Funeral Home, Evans, WV, with John Gunther officiating. Burial will follow in the Given Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. Monday, at the funeral home.
