John and wife Elizabeth P Boyd Adams lived near the Dean Cemetery. US. Archive records show, letter from Elizabeth to son W.T. Adams, that he died about 1861. It is believed that he lies in this cemetery. Elizabeth has a marker which states that John Q. Adams is her husband. Many of their children lived in the area. Several of their grandchildren move to Texas in the late 1800's. This family paid a terrible price as a result of the civil war. His sons fought and died on both sides
