Paul L.McClure, 71, of Gassaway, died Wednesday,, December 10, in General Division CAMC, Charleston,following a brief illness. He was a member of the Gassaway United Methodist Church, the Masons, Eastern Star, Lions Club and was a Shriner. He was a supervisor for Omar Coal Co., and manager of the B-run Boat Docks, Sutton.
Survivors; wife Virginia Hoylman McClure; brothers Francis of Phillips, Texas, William of Dehue; sister, Esther Cunningham of Houston, Texas.
Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Saturday in the Gassaway United Methodist Church with the Rev. Gene Adkins officiating. Interment followed in the Heavner Cemetery, Buckhannon under the direction of the Skidmore-Roach Funeral Home, Gassaway. The family suggest any donations be made to the Braxton County Memorial Hospital.
