CHAMPION, MILTON FRANK, photographer. Born, Ocean City, N. J., September 1, 1883, son of Frank E. and Flora E. (Risley) Champion.

After completing his studies in the public schools of Ocean City, Mr. Champion took a course at Stewart's Business College, Trenton, N. J.

Upon completing his education he secured an office position with a plate glass Jobbing concern in New York City, which he held about a year, leaving this to enter photography.

Mr. Champion first opened a studio on the Ocean City boardwalk. This he conducted about eight years. Then, in partnership with his father, he engaged in the automobile business; a garage and sales agency being established in Atlantic City. But, again feeling the urge of the "dark room," after six years in the automobile line, he left the seashore resort, in 1915, to open his Bridgeton studio, where he has been very successful. A large clientele has been developed in portraiture, amateur finishing and picture framing.

In endeavoring to enhance the value of his photographic service and to increase his facilities for high-class work, Mr. Champion, in May, purchased the property at 34-36-38 East Commerce street, which he has had entirely remodeled and converted into one of the finest photographic studios in the state.

Married, to Mary E., daughter of Dr. David and Charlotte (Ward) Urquhart, of Philadelphia, Mr. Champion is the father of two sons - Frank Edwin, born, October 26, 1908, and David Urquhart, July 16, 1910.

Mr. Champion is a member of Calanthe Lodge, No. 103, Knights of Pythias, and the Bridgeton Chamber of Commerce. He is a Methodist and a Republican, and a lover of outdoor sports.

Residence address, 88 Marion street; business address, 34-36-38 East Commerce street, Bridgeton.
