Obituary.

Martin V. Barnhart was born in Marion county, Ohio, Oct. 1, 1838. He was married to Emma V. Johnson Nov. 23, 1858, who died June 26, 1878. To this union ten children were born, five of whom are living, four sons and one daughter. Mr. Barnhart moved to Indiana in his younger days and there lived till three years ago at which time he came to Geuda Springs where he has since made his home. He was connected and united with the Missionary Baptist church in his early life. On moving to Indiana he united with the U.B. church and remained a member of this same till death. He died at Geuda Springs June 19, 1913. Age 74 years 8 months 18 days.
