Ralph L. Patterson, 85 of Towanda, passed away on Friday, January 17, 2020 at Advocate BroMenn Medical Center, Normal.
Ralph’s service will be held on Thursday, January 23, 2020 at 11am at Calvert & Metzler Memorial Home, Bloomington. Following the service burial will be held at Park Hill Cemetery, Bloomington. Visitation will be held from 10-11am on Thursday at the funeral home.
The family suggests for memorials to be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

Ralph was born on August 20, 1934 in Bloomington to Clyde and Juanita Reeser Patterson. He married Patricia Green on December 14, 1954 in Bloomington.
Ralph is survived by his wife Patricia; their 2 daughters, Connie (Steve) Oehler of Danvers and Debra (John) Jenkins of Illinois. Also surviving are his 8 grandchildren and several great grandchildren; his sister and brother, Delores McClure of Bloomington and Paul (Connie) Patterson of Heyworth. He was preceded in death by his parents and 1 daughter.
Ralph worked for the US Postal Service and he was an avid stamp and coin collector and he enjoyed listening to Country Music.
Ralph was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
