Randy Pierson Hollis, age 68, of Rison, passed away Sunday, April 21, 2019. He was born on June 11, 1950 in Pine Bluff, Arkansas, to the late John M. and Maxine Pierson Hollis. Randy was a Vietnam veteran, having served in the United States Army. Before retiring, Randy worked on a bridge gang for Union Pacific Railroad. He was a member of Zion Missionary Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, Randy was preceded in death by his siblings, John M. Hollis Jr., Richard Baggett and Rex Hollis.
Survivors include his wife of forty-four years, Watheda Hollis; two daughters, Dusty Hollis Holderfield (Jason) and Maxine Hollis; two grandchildren, Abygale Holderfield and Hollis Holderfield; seven sister-in-laws; one brother-in-law; two nieces and four nephews.
