Obituary for Edna M Adams
Edna M. Adams, 91, of Williamsburg, KS passed away Thursday, January 16, 2020, at her home. She was born May 26, 1928 in Bazaar, KS, the daughter of Oscar Butter and Pearl (Berry) Butter. She moved with her family when she was young to Williamsburg, KS, graduating from Williamsburg High School with the class of 1946.

Edna was a Machine Operator for H.D. Lee in Ottawa for over fifteen years.

Edna was an active member of the Centropolis Baptist Church, Centropolis, KS.

On September 3, 1946 Edna was united in marriage with Raymond C. Adams in Ottawa, KS. They shared fifty–one years of marriage until Raymond passed away in 1997.

Edna is also preceded in death by her parents; a grandson, Joshua Adams; a great granddaughter, Kalynn Brook Adams; two sisters, Eunice Butter and Fleta Heck; and three brothers, Hugh Butter, Casey Butter, and Leroy Butter.

Edna is survived by her son, Wayne Adams, Pittsburg, KS; daughters, Bonnie Morris, Springfield, MO, Sandra Adams, Erie, KS, and Betty Taylor, Williamsburg, KS; a brother, Henry Butter, Ottawa, KS; fourteen grandchildren; and several great and great-great grandchildren.

Graveside funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Monday, January 20, 2020 at Mt. Hope Cemetery, Williamsburg, KS. The family will greet friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Sunday January, 19, 2020 at Lamb-Roberts Funeral Home, Ottawa, KS.
