Ray Slater

Services for Ray Slater, 49, of the Town of Niles, who died Thursday will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday in the Rounds Funeral Home, New Hope, Rev. Robert Sampson of Moravia Baptist Church officiating. Burial will be In Highland Cemetery, Marcellus.

A native of Rolfe, la., Mr. Slater had lived in Niles 10 years. Previously he was a resident of Marcellus and Aurellus.

Mr. Slater was a member of Moravia Baptist Church.

He is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ira Slater, Niles; a sister, Mrs. Harold Coates, Syracuse; five brothers, Roy Slater, Marcellus; Ora Slater, Moravia RD, and Charles, Daniel and Harry Slater, Skaneateles RD 1, and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
