Pneumonia Fatal To
Pioneer Carpenter

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:30 o'clock Friday afternoon for Alfred L. Bradshaw, pioneer Sayre carpenter, at the First Christian church with Rev. Carl Belcher officiating.

Bradshaw died at 1:30 o'clock this morning after a brief illness with pneumonia. He had been in ill health for a number of years.

Resident for 32 Years
He was born December 25, 1851 at Fairfield, Iowa. He married Miss Ida Allen at Winfield, Kansas. and they lived in Nebraska for a short while before coming to Oklahoma. They came to this vicinity 32 years ago and settled on a claim 10 miles northwest of here. They lived there for eight years before moving to Sayre where he lived until his death.

He had been a member of the Christian church for 37 years. He leaves the widow; two sons, Rev. A. J. Bradshaw, Pawnee, former pastor of the Sayre Christian church, and Roy L. Bradshaw, Sayre; a grand daughter, Mrs. Roy Couch, Bristow, and two great-grandchildren.

Interment will be at the Sayre-Doxey cemetery with Littrell-Scroggins directors in charge of arrangements.
