Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Newcomer-Diffenderfer Funeral Home for George Link, 95, formerly of 1311 Lott, who died late Thursday at a Topeka nursing home.
He was born Jan. 1, 1887, in Morgan County, Ky., the son of Robert and Lucy Hawkins Link. He lived in the Topeka community the past 50 years.
Mr. Link was a retired farmer and a Baptist.
He married Mary Pearl Carnahan Nov. 22, 1964, at Topeka. She survives.
Other survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Nola Salmi, Seattle, Wash., Mrs. Grace Brobeck, Kent, Wash., Bernice Link, Yucca Valley, Calif., and Mrs. Dorene Moore, Morongo Valley, Calif., a granddaughter, four great-grandsons, and a great-great-grandson.
Burial will be in West Lawn Memorial Gardens, Topeka. Mr. Link will lie in state from 9 a.m. today until service time at the funeral home.
