GREENVILLE — Funeral services for Billie Jean Lloyd Gorden, 80, retired bank teller, of Greenville, will be at 11 a.m. today at Mortimer Funeral Home, Greenville. She died Tuesday, June 21, 2016. Interment will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, Greenville, under the direction of Mortimer Funeral Home, Greenville.

She was born Aug. 6, 1935, in Greenwood, the daughter of Nathan and Merle Lloyd.

She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, American Legion Auxiliary, 8-40 Salon, Lefemmes, VFW Auxiliary, Greenville Pride and Cancer — Research to Discovery.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Gayle William Gorden Sr.; and a brother, Harold Lloyd.

She is survived by her three children, Jeanie (David) Sykes, Tammye Pittman and Robert "Jabby" (Debbie) Wahl, all of Greenville; three grandchildren, Reid Wahl, of Fayetteville, Ark., and Casey Pittman and Thomas Pittman, both of Greenville.

Visitation will be from 9:30-10 a.m. today at the funeral home.
