Patricia Ann Cooper was born November 28, 1944 in Partridge, Kentucky, to Lillie Caudill Cooper and Willie Cooper.

She lived in Denver, Colorado and had four children, Christina Sweeney, Linda Rogers, Rhonda Willey and Joseph Deats and four grandchildren-Quentin and Evyn Sweeney and Veronica and Miranda Willey. She loved all of her children and grandchildren very much. Her children were her entire life while they were growing up and continued in her thoughts as the pursued their own lives. She wishes the love and happiness all their lives.

Patricia was the fifth child born to Willie and Lillie Cooper. She had seven sisters and three brothers whom she loved dearly. They are Bob Cooper, Emma Lou Henley, Aliene Parrish, Charlotte Cooper, Ben Cooper, Yolanda Barnette, Glinda Blanton, Treva Jewell Carroll, Jerry Cooper and Deborah Hampton and several beautiful nieces and nephews.

Her parents moved from Kentucky to the coal fields in southwest Virginia in 1945. Her dad worked in the coal mines until he retired. She had a very happy childhood and as time went by and the mining towns closed, she and most of the other siblings moved to different states to find work and to continue their own lives. She loved all the warm and loving visits back to the hollars and the family members that continued to live wonderful lives within the general area. She was very proud to be from such a warm and loving home and family that her mom and dad provided for her.
