Mr. Charles W. Holleman, age 93, of Marietta, GA, died Wednesday, February 4, 2004. A Cobb County native, Mr. Holleman worked a short time for the Federal Government and went on to spend his career with Foy Brick Company until his retirement. He was a member and deacon of Eastwood Baptist Church. Mr. Holleman was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend to everyone he met. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Janet R. Holleman; son and daughter-in-law, Larry C. and Melinda Holleman; daughter and son-in-law, Sandra H. and Roy Abernathy, all of Marietta; sisters, Frances H. Smith of Atlanta and Christine H. and Leon Hall of Union City, GA; grandchildren, Wes, David and Laura Holleman, Ty and Chase Abernathy; several nieces and nephews. A Funeral Service will be held Saturday, February 7th at 11:00 AM at H.M. Patterson & Son, Canton Hill Chapel, with Rev. Jerry Atkins officiating. Interment to follow at Arlington Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Friday from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to The Leukemia Society, 2625 Cumberland Pkwy, Ste. 205, Atlanta, GA 30339.
