Seldon Brewer, 69, of Bud, Wyoming County, died Sunday in a Mullens hospital after a short illness.
He was an 18-year resident of Bud and was formerly of Kentucky. He was a retired coal miner.
Surviving: wife, Minnie; daughters, Joyce Brewer and Mrs. Mable Sizemore, of Bud; sisters Mrs. Fannie Cain of Beckley, Mrs. Tina King of Jackson, KY.; a brother, Hagor of Middletown, Oh.
Service was to be at 1 pm today in Bud Baptist Church with the Rev. Tom Lisle officiating. Burial was to be in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Prosperity. Longanacre Funeral Home, Mullens, is in charge of arrangements.
