Graveside services for Frank Swanson Adkins of 403 Eighth St., NE, were to be held at 3 p.m. Friday at Arlington Cemetery, Rev. Samuel Cobb officiating.
Mr. Adkins, 71, died Wednesday at a hospital.
He was a salesman for Jordan Commercial Refrigerator Co. for 10 years.
He served in the Air Corps in World War I.
Mr. Adkins was born in Stephens County and had lived here about 40 years. He was a member of First Baptist Church and a Mason.
Surviving are his wife, the former Miss Cassandra Brannon of Cummings; a daughter, Mrs. Frances Riggall, Atlanta, and brothers, William Adkins, Atlanta, and O. H. Adkins, Savannah.
