Mrs. Dosha Lee Eidson, 320 #. 16th St., Eldon, a former resident of Iberia, died Saturday, May 17, 1969, at Charles E. Still Hospital, Jefferson City. She was 86 years of age. She was the widow of Dave Eidson.

She was born Sept. 22, 1882, at Iberia, the daughter of George and Jane (Smith) Groves. Her first marriage on Oct 21, 1900, was to Frank Bass who passed away.

She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Lora Abbett of Eldon; one grandson; one sister, Mrs. Blanche Wilson of Independence; and one brother, Robert Groves of Iberia.

For the past six years Mrs. Eidson had made her home with her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Abbett, first near Bagnell and then for two years at Camdenton before moving to Eldon three years ago. Mrs. Eidson was a member of the Assembly of God Church at Iberia.

Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Sunday at Phillips Chapel in Eldon. The Rev. George Flora officiated. Burial was in the Hickory Point Cemetery near Iberia.
