Mrs. Spidell was a native of Nashville, Tenn. and had lived in Auburndale for four years, making her home with her daughter, Mrs. C. W. Houseworth. She was a member of the Methodist United Daughters of the Confederacy and of the Order of the Eastern Star.
Survivors besides her daughter, Mrs. Houseworth, are two sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Agerton and Mrs. Lee Robbins, both of Auburndale; and a brother, Clem Bush of Nashville; three grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
