Hazelle Love Dies Unexpectedly
Sheridan--Mrs. Hazelle Love, who with her husband, Ray, have operated the Pick and Pan pharmacy here for years, died unexpectedly Saturday while at work in the store.
Funeral services were conducted at Sheridan Episcopal Church Wednesday. Burial was in Sheridan Cemetery.
Mrs. Love was born in Rockford, Minn., Sept. 27, 1891, and grew to womanhood there. On April 9, 1916, she was married to Raymond Love. For years they lived at Havre.
The family came to Sheridan in 1941 and purchased the Pick and Pan pharmacy. Later they bought the former Sutherland home and became active in Sheridan community life.
She was a member of the Christ Episcopal church and guild, the Order of Eastern Star, the Women's Club of Sheridan, and was treasurer of District 2 of the Federation of Women's Clubs, a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution of Dillon, home service chairman of the Madison county chapter of the American Red Cross, a grand representative of the OES, and member of Daughters of the Nile and the Social Order of the Beauceant.
Survivors include the widower; a daughter, Mrs. William Hall of Palo Alto, Calif.; an adopted son, Lee Love of Seattle; five grandchildren; an identical twin sister, Mrs. Helen Barney of Arlington, Calif. All were here for the funeral.
