Shelby Gene Aaron, 69, of Doniphan , departed this life on January 6, 2020, at John J. Pershing VA Medical Center, in Poplar Bluff Mo.

Mr. Aaron was born on February 7, 1950, at Neelyville Mo. to the late Robert Aaron and Edith Gimblin Aaron. He worked at Raben Tire and enjoyed watching TV and Coyote hunting. Shelby was a veteran of the United States Army, having served in the Vietnam War.

On December 20, 1977, he married Ruth E. Biehl, she survives.

Also surviving are his children; Joey Aaron and wife Kim of Doniphan, Sara Aaron of Puxico, Diana Hedges and husband Robert of Doniphan, Evelyn Aaron and fiance Quentin Spears of Doniphan, Linda Fisher and fiance Shawon Robinson of Doniphan; 2 brothers, Tom Aaron of St. Louis, MO., Carl Aaron of Naples, FL.; 14 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.

Besides his parents, he is also preceded in death by 3 sisters, Martha Bounds, Frieda Lester, Bonnie Riley; as well as 2 brothers, R.L. Aaron and Frank Aaron.

Services for Mr. Aaron will take place on Saturday, January 11, 2020 at the Fowler & Sons Funeral Home in Neelyville, MO. Visitation will begin at 12:00 p.m. followed by the funeral service beginning at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel with Ron Fowler officiating. Burial will take place in Kinsey Cemetery.
