Francis J. Barna, 83 years, of Fogelsville, died Monday, March 12, 2007 in his home. He was the husband of Mae H. (Bedner) Barna for 62 years last July. Born in Lake City, Pa., he was the son of the late Albert and Anna (Check) Barna. He was a real estate agent for the Pioneer Agency, Somerset County, N.J., for three years retiring in 1979. Prior to that, he was a self-employed contractor in Somerset County for 15 years. He was an Army veteran of World War II serving in the 3352nd Signal Service Battalion. He was of the Catholic faith.
