Funeral services for James Horton Rupe, 62, of Mammoth, who died Thursday in a Charleston hospital, will be held Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Mount Lewis Baptist Church. Rev. Eugene Wolfe will officiate and burial will be in Ward Cemetery at Ward. The Perrine Mortuary of Cedar Grove will be in charge. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Mary Rupe; five sons, Chester Rupe, of Baltimore, Alonzo Rupe of Detroit, and Sidney, Daniel, and Erwin Rupe, all of Mammoth; four daughters, Mrs. Myrella Moore of Crown Hill, Mrs. Belva Anderson, Nellie and Maxine Rupe all of Mammoth; four brothers and two sisters.
